No team likes to see its top player go down with an injury. But for Quinnipiac, watching leading scorer Sam Anas leave late in the first period against Harvard on Saturday after being ridden into the boards by Luke Esposito was one of the differences in the game.

The defending tournament champion Crimson beat St. Lawrence in overtime in the ECAC Hockey semifinals.
The Bobcats hadn’t advanced to the ECAC Hockey championship game since 2007 until they beat Dartmouth on Friday.
Goaltender Charles Grant backstopped the Big Green’s road sweep of Yale in the quarterfinals. Next up: a semifinal game against top seed Quinnipiac.
The Huskies were 2-12-3 in late November but have won 18 of 21 to get into contention for an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament.
The pairings are set for 2016 conference championship weekend in the six Division I men’s conferences.
