Northeastern’s Levi gets 2022 Mike Richter Award as top goaltender

BOSTON — Northeastern’s Devon Levi won the 2022 Mike Richter Award on Friday as the top goaltender in Division I men’s hockey.

Levi beat out Minnesota State’s Dryden McKay, a Hobey Hat Trick finalist, and Quinnipiac’s Yaniv Perets in voting completed before the start of the NCAA tournament.

A sophomore from Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec, Levi led the country in save percentage at .952. He was third in goals-against average at 1.54 and shared second with McKay at 10 shutouts, one behind Perets.
